Over 65 juniors attended the Atlanta Superset Challenger 3 & 4 held over the weekend. Gelawdios Mesfin, a native of Ethiopia won the singles title in the B18s division. Anish Sharma was the runner up. Kyle Kinsler(pictured) won the B16 singles defeating Zack Mason in the finals. In the G12 event, top seeded Johanna Keeline won the finals defeating Zina Graves. Another busy weekend is expected this coming weekend.
After a successful launch last week, the Atlanta Superset Series is expecting a big turnout this weekend with events in 4 age groups and play at 4 different sites. With no state ranking tournaments scheduled for this weekend, a lot of the top players are expected to participate to prepare for the upcoming Georgia state, Southern and National tournaments. Registration is open until Thursday 11:00pm, but draw sizes are limited so be sure to register early.
16 girls and boys attended the first Atlanta Superset Series tournament held at the International Tennis Academy. Simon Jayaram beat Jayanth Chintham in the 14 & Under event to win the finals. The first ever tournament for the Atlanta Superset Series will be held on Saturday December 6th at the International Tennis Academy. The tournament will start at 9:00am for boys and girls 12 - 14 age group. Players are guaranteed 4 matches.
